About the Speakers
Massimo is an academic coordinator of the MBA Sustainable Mobility Management and senior researcher at the Technische Universität Berlin. He is working on the technology and its wide effects on economic, social and cultural fields. His work explores the relationship between technology and society, as well as crucial topics of sustainable mobility and environmental studies, focusing on transitional and cultural shifts.
Having dedicated herself to a more sustainable approach in design, Daniela was one of the masterminds behind the unique sustainable design concept of the “Project i” which resulted in the BMW i3 car and has pushed ahead with innovative eco-friendly initiatives ever since. Additionally, she is a frequent guest lecturer at different universities, think tanks, and panel discussions. Prior to joining the BMW Group Design team 18 years ago, Daniela had worked in different industries as a product designer, where she always felt confronted with the consequences of her work on the environment.

The purpose of SRM Talks is to organize monthly talks under the motto “SRM talks challenges of the future”. The topics of interest for these talks gravitate around environmental issues and sustainable solutions such as nature conservation, green finance, renewable energy, waste management, etc.
